It must have been round about 1990 just after John and Janet moved to Newcastle. We were sat next to them in JPC and got chatting after the service. We very quickly became firm friends and they joined our home group. We particularly remember a home group social which must have been in early 1992 when Janet didn't  eat much and was looking a bit sickly. John kept saying, with a huge grin on his face, not to worry she wasn't unwell. We all guessed of course that she was expecting though Janet hadn't planned to make it public quite so soon. So many things have happened over thirty years but their love and friendship has been unwavering.
