Janet always had time for people. I would often meet her in the church halls preparing for Brownies late on a Thursday afternoon, she had lots to do but was happy to spend time asking about others. She was a wonderful cook for the Primetime lunches (for over 70s). Her meals were not only delicious and wholesome but beautifully presented with love. She was the cook who could calmly prepare a meal for 40 people singlehanded and still be smiling at the end. She gave her all to everything she did.
